The provincial government says developers can submit proposals for at least 20 new affordable seniors housing units in Summerside.
The deadline for submitting proposals is March 15th and the details are available through the government website.
The project is part of $5.2 million in federal funding that’s earmarked for new seniors units in areas of most need.
The federal funding also includes a request for proposals issued recently for 30 new seniors units in Charlottetown. Both the Summerside and Charlottetown units will be completed and available for rental by April 1, 2019.
