Sunday was the first day of the North America Drivers Championship at Miami Valley Raceway in Ohio. Two Islanders are competing, James MacDonald, who is 7th on the scorecard after day one, and Marc Campbell. Round Two will be Monday afternoon with only the top ten of the thirty drivers in the contest advancing to Championship Day on Tuesday.
It was a weekend of splits for the UPEI Panthers. Both the Men’s and Women’s Hockey Panthers split their two weekend games, while the Women’s Basketball Panthers won their game Saturday night against St FX and the men lost.
