With the holiday season in full swing, a warning from Charlottetown Police that if you plan to drink and get behind the wheel of a vehicle, they are determined to get you off the road.
Charlottetown Police are ramping up for the Christmas season with checkstops and increased patrols. A focus will be removing drunk and impaired drivers from P.E.I. roads.
Police also ask for your support in reporting possible impaired drivers. They suggest you keep an eye out for the signs of impaired driving such as vehicles making exceptionally wide turns, drifting in and out of lanes, tailgating, changing lanes frequently, and disregarding signals and lights.
