Canada’s men’s and women’s curling teams for the Pyeongchang Olympics have been decided. Calgary’s Kevin Koe earned the men’s berth with a 7-6 victory over Winnipeg’s Mike McEwen. Ottawa’s Rachel Homan defeated Calgary’s Chelsea Carey 6-5 for the women’s spot. Both Koe and Homan are making their first Olympic appearance. PEI’s Brett Gallant and the Brad Gushue rink lost in the semifinal to McEwen.
