At Eastlink Centre Tuesday night, the QMJHL all-stars beat Russia 3-1, so Canada takes a 3-2 series lead. Samuel Harvey made 25 saves to get the win. The final game of the series, Game 6, is Thursday in Moncton.
The Edmonton Oilers found their scoring touch, downing the Vegas Golden Knights 8-2 last night. Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins each scored twice in the win. Also last night, Vancouver edged the L-A Kings 3-2, Winnipeg topped Arizona 4-1 and Columbus edged Montreal 2-1 in overtime.
The Oilers acquired Mike Cammalleri from Los Angeles in a trade for Jussi Jokinen.

The Island skaters were among 116 competitors at the second Quebec Provincial Series meet of the season.
