Remembrance Day 2017
was a cold and windy day in Charlottetown as the Island’s capital marked the day with the annual service at the Cenotaph in front of Province House on Saturday morning.
A good crowd on hand despite the weather conditions.
Dan Miller, from 201 Confederation Wing of the Canadian Air Force Association acted as MC.
Lt. Governor Antoinette Perry took part in her first official Remembrance Day ceremony laying a wreath.
The Memorial Cross Mother this year was Tammy Arsenault. Her husband, Warrant Officer Keith Arsenault was killed in an airplane crash in Alaska in 1989.
