Pascal Aquin led the charge with three goals while Sullivan Sparkes added two and Charlottetown rookie Tomas Casey got his first in the Q,
Goalie Matt Welsh made 37 as the Islanders moved into a tie with Cape Breton in the Maritimes Division. The Islanders are 11-8-1.

The UPEI men’s Panthers finally ended a seven game winless streak as they got by Dalhousie Tigers, 5-4 in the AUS. Game star Ryan MacKinnon scored the winner at 12.48 of the third. Kameron Keilly, who is in the top five in scoring in Canada, added two goals. He has 21 points. The Panthers host slumping St. F.X. tonight at 7.00.
X lost a third straight game, 5-3 to UNB. Former junior stars Chris Caissy and Oliver Cooper among the goal scorers.
Acadia dropped last place Moncton, 6-1.

The UPEI women’s Panthers lost a heartbreaker in overtime, 2-1 to Dalhousie. Jenna Pellerin with the UPEI goal.Lisa MacLean scored the winner.
