The Houston Astros are on their way to the World Series for only the second time. The Astros shutout the NY Yankees, 4-0 in the 7th game of the ALCS behind a combined 3 hitter fired by Charlie Morton and Lance McCullers.
Evan Gattis and Jose Altuve homered and former Yankee Brian McCann drove in two runs.
The World Series opens Tuesday with Houston in Los Angeles.

The Charlottetown Islanders stayed hot with their 4th straight win in the Q doubling Shawinigan, 4-2. Olivier Desjardins with the winner. It was his first of the season.
Gregor MacLeod, Saku Vesterinen and Matthew Grouchy also scored. The Islanders are 5-6-1.
Halifax trimmed Sherbrooke, 3-1. Val-d’Or over Acadie-Bathurst, 3-1. Chicoutimi edged Saint John, 4-3 in overtime.

The Summerside Western Capitals bumped the Woodstock Slammers, 4-1 on the road in the MHL.
TJ Shea led the attack with a goal and two assists. Taylor Austin, Brodie MacMillan and Alex Hambly had singles for the young Caps who ar 6-6-1 and 2nd in the North Division.
