The American League Championship Series is going to a deciding game.
The Houston Astros dropped the NY Yankees, 7-1 to force a 7th game. Brian McCann’s RBI double and Jose Altuve’s 2 run single in the 5th broke the game open. Altuve also homered.
Aaron Judge homered in the 9th for New York.
Justin Verlander fired 7 scoreless innings for the win.

The UPEI Panthers were blanked 6-0 by the Saint Mary’s Huskies in AUS hockey. Eric Brassard with a 22 save shutout. Aaron Berisha and Anthony Rapaci had two power play goals each. The Panthers now 2-3.

UPEI lost 53-18 to Acadia in the AUS women’s rugby semi-final.

Cornwall, PEI’s Adam McQuaid is out for at least eight weeks after suffering a broken leg. The Boston Bruins defenseman broke his right fibula in a game against Vancouver on Thursday. He’ll undergo surgery on Monday.

Montreal has lost 7 in a row. The Habs went down 6-2 in Anaheim. Derek Grant scored twice for the Ducks who scored 3 in the first and 3 in the second. It’s the worst start for Montreal since 1941.
