According to a Charlottetown Artificial Turf Field Assessment Report received by Council, Simmons Sports Centre would be the most appropriate location.
The City is considering constructing an artificial turf field, and the Assessment Report makes recommendations based on examination of the options and feedback from user groups.
It found that when all factors are considered, such as space, available parking and facilities, Simmons Sports Centre was ranked as the best option.
City Councillor Mitchell Tweel says the report will be used as a guiding document by council.
