The consolation races are on this afternoon with post time at 12.30.
The $5,000 races in the consolations will go in the 4th, 6th and 8th dashes.
Championship day is on Sunday at 12.30.
Yesterday it was the Atlantic Classic Sale for yearlings.
Woodmere Tango from Woodmere Farms in Marshfield, PEI went for $28,000.
Morah Kerr of Truro, Nova Scotia was the high bidder.
Woodmere Nora was sold to Dave Fillmore for $27,000 and Woodmere Brackley was auctioned for $27,000 and purchased by Pat Morris.
An Atlantic record price for a trotter of $16,000 was set by Maritime Star and bought by Joe Smallwood on consignment by Meridian Farms.
Sales totalled over $991-thousand.
93 yearlings sold for an average about $10,600.
