The intersection at one of the busiest entry points to the city is to reopen late Friday night.
Construction has seen the “Queens Arms Intersection” closed to traffic for about 3 weeks as the culverts and storm channel at that intersection needed to be replaced.
The final work will be done through the day, which includes curing of concrete sidewalks and curbing, laying the sub-base in preparation for asphalt, and testing traffic lights. The top layer of asphalt and lane markings will be completed throughout the day.
Then the intersection of Capital Drive, North River Road and Lower Malpeque Road is to open up late Friday night.
