The 10th annual Farm Day in the City is on today in downtown Charlottetown.
The biggest street open air market on the Island is presented by PEI Potato Growers and will be on from 11 this morning until 5 this afternoon. It goes down Queen St. from Grafton south to Water St.
There will be 160 vendors on site including farmers, producers, crafts people and restaurants who encourage you to buy local.
There is no admission.
There will be some street closures during the day affecting a number of streets in the downtown area from now until 9 this evening.
No parking will be permitted.
Accessible parking will be found other parts of the downtown within easy walking distance.
Washroom facilities will be found on-site as well as the elevator and accessible washrooms at Confederation Centre.
