The Acadie Bathurst Titan blanked the Charlottetown Islanders 4-0 Sunday in a QMJHL preseason game. The Islanders play their home opener Friday night at Eastlink Centre against Moncton, then face Halifax Saturday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Tampa Bay edged Boston 3-2, and Baltimore got by the N.Y. Yankees 6-4.
