Changes were announced Monday to the Government’s senior management team.
Neil Stewart has been named deputy minister of Finance, effective this Friday. He has served as deputy minister of Workforce and Advanced Learning, and previously as deputy minister of Economic Development and Tourism.
David Arsenault, who currently serves as deputy minister of Finance, has indicated his intention to retire in the near future. In the meantime he will stay on in a part-time role to provide continuity and guidance during the transition.
Based on the recommendation of the board of the PEI Liquor Control Commission, Andrew MacMillan has been confirmed as CEO. He has been serving in an acting CEO role since March 2015.
