The Chambers of Commerce in PEI are inviting Island businesses to stand up in opposition to the federal government’s tax proposal.
The federal government is proposing major changes to how businesses are taxed, and the Chambers say it’s an unfair proposal, suggesting that the changes punish small business and discourage entrepreneurship.
The Chambers have created an online submission form, where feedback will be emailed directly to the Island’s four MPs arliament as well as Minister of Finance, Bill Morneau.
The form is available through the Charlottetown Chamber website and the deadline for submission on the federal government consultation document is October 2nd.
