A special ceremony is set for Wednesday morning at Government House
StopCyberbullying, which is a program of the global cybersafety group WiredSafety, and is presenting its first awards which recognize community kindness and family role models.
The two Community Kindness Leadership Award recipients represent both ends of the Island – Glenda Cooper from Belfast and Don Reid from Summerside.
The Positive Family Awards are presented to a parent and child team who have made a difference by promoting positivity and improving the digital world. The three family teams being recognized are Kim Doyle and her 13-year-old son Nicholas;
David Rashed and his twin 13-year-old daughters, Lily and Ava; and Sue Huizing and her daughter Bayley.

The presentations will be made by Dr. Parry Aftab, who lives in PEI and is a founder of StopCyberbullying and WiredSafety, and StopCyberbullying’s Chief Positivity Officer, PEI’s own Roisin Mullen.
