Four Island firefighters have returned to British Columbia to assist with more wildfires.
The Island forestry crew left on Tuesday and will work out of the Prince George Fire Centre.
They are likely to be in B.C. for three weeks.
PEI Environment Minister Robert Mitchell says the four will be part of an initial attack crew and will be the first to enter some of the affected areas.
Over 1.2 million hectares of forest has burned in the massive forest fires.
