A man was stabbed multiple times in Charlottetown Sunday afternoon and two people are facing assault related charges.
Charlottetown Police received a complaint around 4:15 p.m. Sunday regarding a man stabbed on Kensington Rd., near Spring Lane.
Police arrived and discovered the victim was involved in an altercation with another male and a female. As a result, he received several stab wounds and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested a 22 year old male for aggravated assault, and a 27 year old female for assault with a weapon.
Both were jailed at the Provincial Correctional Centre, and will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
