Kings District RCMP charged a Charlottetown man with impaired driving Sunday morning.
Police conducted a traffic stop and believed the driver to be under the influence of alcohol.
The 27 year-old man was taken to the Montague RCMP Detachment where breathalizer readings, according to police, were found to be well over the legal limit.
The accused will appear in Charlottetown court in September.
East Prince RCMP made two arrests for impaired driving this past Saturday night.
Multiple calls were received throughout the evening regarding suspected impaired drivers, and in two instances, police were able to intercept the vehicles.
The drivers showed signs of being impaired by alcohol and were arrested for impaired.
These arrests were directly related to 9-1-1 calls made by the public.
