At the Canada Games, the conditions were good Thursday for some low scores on the golf course and PEI golfers did just that. Jason Poley led the Island contingent with the third best score of the day shooting a 1-under 71 which gives him a three round total of 220 which puts him in 9th place. Tyler Hashmi shot a 73 while Alex Taylor fired a 76 which has them in 22nd and 26th place.
On the ladies side, Lexie Murphy had her best round of the tournament shooting a 94 for the lowest round of the day by the female team. Mya Chisholm shot a 96 while Reese MacDonald came in at 101. The final round of the tournament will be played this morning.
