An increase in gasoline and other fuel prices.
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a 2.9 cents per litre increase in gas prices. That means that pump prices for regular self-serve now range from $1.06 to $1.08 per litre.
Furnace and stove oil prices increased by 2.9 cents per litre, while diesel prices went up by 4 cents per litre.
Propane price changes varied from a decrease of 0.8 cents per litre to an increase of 1 cent per litre, depending on the dealer.
The changes took effect just after midnight Tuesday morning.
