RCMP on the Island are recruiting youth for their 2017-2018 National Youth Advisory Committee.
The committee’s purpose is to ensure the voice of Canadian youth is represented within the RCMP and to assist with developing effective youth strategies and initiatives across the country.
The National Committee will be in place from September 2017 until June 2018. Each participant is required to spend two to four hours per month discussing youth issues through an online forum.
Participants will be eligible for reference letters for sholarships, employment opportunities, university/college applications; and volunteer hours attained during the time spent on the committee.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age and have something to say about issues facing young people, then more information and requests for an application can be obtained by e-mailing RCMP.Youth-Jeunesse.GRC@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
