Northumberland Ferries is downto five crossings daily at Wood Islands and Caribou due to a propulsion system problem on the Confederation.
Only the Holiday Island is in operation.
Crossings goings at 6.30 and 9.30 this morning at Wood Islands and 8.00 and 11.15 at Caribou.
Donald Cormier, Vice-President and General Manager of Northumberland Ferries Limited says they regret any inconvenience the change has caused.
He says the company engineers are working with the manufacturer to get replacement parts and complete repairs as soon as possible.
