Scientists say two of six North Atlantic right whales found lifeless in the Gulf of St. Lawrence were probably hit by ships.
The Marine Animal Response Society says the two whales suffered from internal bleeding and extensive bruising.
They say a third whale died after getting tangled in fishing gear.
The rare North Atlantic right whales were found dead in waters north of Prince Edward Island last month. The necropsies were performed on the shore at Norway in West Prince.
