It was a record year for the Easter Seals campaign in 2017.
At a rotary luncheon Monday, held to wrap up this year’s campaign, it was announced that $153,500 was raised with the 2017 campaign. That’s the most ever raised for a year’s campaign.
The luncheon also honoured this year’s Easter Seals Ambassador, Cameron Gordon, a grade 10 student at Colonel Gray High school.
Cameron says he was happy to help with the campaign. He of course visited more than 60 schools with the Tim Horton’s Easter Seals Ambassador School Tour, spreading his campaign motto, “Help kids like me be the best we can be.”
The campaign is an annual project of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown, with support from the Rotary Clubs of Summerside
