A 5 year-old Island girl suffered a concussion and a badly bruised lung after the trampoline she was playing on carried her about 40 meters because of strong wind gusts Sunday.
Ella Hurry was jumping on the trampoline at one moment and then the next, was lying underneath it after it traveled across her yard.
The young girl was taken to hospital in Charlottetown as and then airlifted to the I-W-K Health Center in Halifax.
Her grandmother says Ella is now breathing on her own and doctors expect she will make a full recovery.
