The cruise ship season officially wrapped up for 2018 with a record breaking season, bringing just shy of 98,000 passengers and 44,000 crew to the Port of Charlottetown.
In addition to a record breaking year, Charlottetown also hosted its’ first ever four-ship day, along with welcoming new cruise lines and new ships to Prince Edward Island.
The cruise ship season has a total direct economic impact of just over $16.5 million, an 8.2% increase over 2017.
