Corporate Research Associates is out with its latest poll, and it shows voter support for the Island Liberals and Green Party is virtually even.
The Liberal Party is now at its lowest level of support since the May 2015 election. At 34%, about one-third of decided voters support the PEI Liberal Party this quarter. That’s down from 42% in February. The Green Party has essentially the same level of support, at 33%. That’s nearly unchanged from February’s 34%. The Progressive Conservative Party saw it’s support jump to 26% from February’s 17%. The NDP has 7% support.
In terms of leader preference, Green Party Leader Peter Bevan-Baker has 39% support, while Premier and Liberal Leader Wade MacLauchlan has 24% support. PC Leader James Aylward is ther choice of 17% and 4% back the NDP’s Joe Byrne.
