A new survey suggests 18 per cent of Islanders would consider purchasing recreational cannabis once it becomes legal.
The survey by M-Q-O Research found men were more likely to consider purchasing than females, at 23 per cent compared to 13 per cent, and the survey also found that those younger than 55 were more likely to consider buying pot.
As for how people would make such a purchase, 66 per cent preferred a retail location while 20 per cent said they would buy online
