Four of the Island’s leading entrepreneurs were inducted into the Junior Achievement PEI Business Hall of Fame at a gala dinner Wednesday night.
The newest inductees are Jason Aspin, Michael Cassidy, and Rita and Angus MacCormack.
Jason Aspin was recognized for his leadership in the PEI technology and marine industries. Jason co-founded Aspin Kemp and Associates in 1996.
Michael Cassidy’s business interests have crossed many sectors over the past 32 years inclusding waste management, vehicle sales, tourism and hospitality, real estate development, business consulting and transportation with a motor coach business.
Rita and Angus MacCormack have seen great success in real estate and the construction industry. They ran the Linkletter Inn and Convention Centre for 15 years, and operate MacCormack Builders and Apartments with 2 motels, over 1000 apartment units and a construction company.
