The RCMP and police departments across the Island will be looking out for impaired drivers and speeders this weekend.
The Victoria Day weekend is usually the first long holiday weekend for people to get out to the cottage and more traffic is on the highways.
On Friday night, RCMP checkpoints in Stratford led to one person being charged for impaired driving.
Two other drivers received seven day alcohol related driving suspensions.
