In the legislature Wednesday, the Opposition PCs and Greens questioned Government on the carbon tax issue.
Last week, Environment Minister Richard Brown announced the province’s five year Climate Change Action Plan, and there was no mention of a carbon tax.
On Wednesday, the Opposition questioned him on whether Ottawa will accept that plan. If it doesn’t, Ottawa will impose a carbon tax.
Brown says the plan will mean carbon reduction, and it should be accepted by the federal government.
