Two hotel owners on the Island are facing charges under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
It’s alleged that the pair, who are brother and sister, helped to set up fake addresses for seven people who applied to come to PEI under the provincial business immigration program.
The Canada Border Services Agency says it has laid three counts against 60-year-old Ping Zhong and five counts against her brother, 58-year-old Yi Zhong.
The pair own and operate the Sherwood hotel in Charlottetown.
