At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th, Kings District RCMP were advised by a member of the public about a possible impaired driver at a local business in Montague.
Police made an immediate patrol and located a 62 year-old Kings County man behind the wheel of his vehicle. A roadside breath test was administered to which the driver failed.
The male was subsequently arrested and transported to the Montague RCMP detachment where he provided samples of his breath, over two and a half times the legal limit.
The man will appear in Georgetown Provincial Court at a future date.
