Several major road construction jobs begin Monday.
The Trans Canada Highway Extension continues. Most work will be completed off road with the first section at the Cornwall Road proceeding west for about 1 km.
The second section begins aobut 200 metres west of Linwood Road and will continue west for about 2.7 km.
Delays can be expected. Work will continue through mid to late November.
The Oyster Bed Bridge roundabout construction job also begins.
Most of the earth work needed for the roundabout will be outside the existing roadway. Delays can be expected.
That work to be completed in late June.
Abram-Village storm sewer and sidewalk construction also begins.
The project is at the intersection of Route 124 and Bellvue Drive and proceeds east along the south side of Route 124 for 540 metres. There may be some delays. The work should be completed in late May.
There will be traffic control personnel at each construction site.
