Keith Getson was Charlottetown Islanders hero in Game 4 of the Quebec Major Jr. Hockey semi-finals scoring the winning goal at 5.13 of overtime and handing the Islanders a 4-3 win over the Blainville Armada.
Getson’s goal was the second in as many nights in OT and evens the series, 2-2.
Pascal Aquin and Derek Gentile set up Getson as the crowd of 3,157 at the Eastlink Centre went wild.
The Islanders tied the game, 3-3 with a pair of goals 47 seconds apart near the 10 minute mark of the 3rd.
Gentile and Sullivan Sparkes provided the goals.
Brett Budgell had the other Charlottetown goal.
Drake Batherson, Alexandre Alain and Thomas Ethier scored for the Armada.
Islanders goalie Matt Welsh mad 34 saves as the Islanders were outshot 37-26.
Game 5 is in Blainville on Friday night at 8.30.
Game 6 is Sunday night at 7.00.

Acadie-Bathurst has swept the Victoriaville Tigres, 4-0 in other semi-final and will meet either the Islanders or the Armada in the President’s Cup final. Summerside defenseman Noah Dobson had an assist for the Titan.
