The provincial government is investing in the Island’s crafting community as part of the province’s Culture Action Plan.
The government is putting 115-thousand dollars toward a new multi-purpose facility in Charlottetown.
The PEI Centre for Craft opens its doors on June 5th and will offer training in pottery, silversmith, glass, and textiles.
It will also offer courses and workshops to help professional craftspeople improve their business management skills.
