The RCMP is reporting a break-in/robbery in Donaldston early Sunday morning.
Police got a 9-1-1 call at around 5:30am from a home in Donaldston. When RCMP arrived, the home was empty, but there were obvious signs of a break-in and assault.
Police found the occupants at the QEH a short time later. They told police that three strangers got into their home while they were sleeping, and with baseball bats, struck the man living in the home several times. Then they took off with some cash and other items.
The man was treated for his injuries and released from hospital.
