Islanders will get a chance to meet Paralympic hero Mark Arendz this week.
A meet and greet will take place Thursday from 6.30 to 8.30 in the evening at the Kingston Branch 30 of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The 28-year-old Hartsville native won six medals in six races in biathlon and cross-country skiing at the Paralympics in South Korea, earlier this month.
The medal haul included a gold, a silver and three bronzes in individual competition and a silver in the mixed relay.
