Next month will see the launch of this year’s “Taking Care of Women’s Business. Period. 28-day campaign.”
The campaign is aimed at stocking the food bank shelves with feminine hygiene products. In Charlottetown alone, the Upper Room Food Bank takes care of roughly 400 women who depend on its services for such products.
The PEI Women’s Institute organizes the campaign, which was launched a number of years ago by Tracey Comeau of Charlottetown.
