The family of an Island woman, who died in 1977, appeared before the National Inquiry on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Moncton on Wednesday.
Barbara Bernard spoke about the life and death of her mother, Mary Francis Paul, who was found dead at the waterfront in Charlottetown.
Bernard says she found out 12 years later that her mother’s death may have been suspicious, but she has no idea if there ever was a police investigation.
