A Georgetown Elementary student described as a social butterfly loaded with charm is the 2018 Easter Seals Ambassador.
Brayden White was introduced Monday during the kick-off to this year’s Easter Seals Campaign, a joint project between the Rotary Clubs of Charlottetown, Montague, and Summerside.
Brayden told the luncheon crowd he has Down Syndrome and learns slower than others…but proudly said he is smart and able to learn just like anyone else, it just might take him a little longer.
The son of Melvin Ford and the late Jennifer White, Brayden likes hockey, basketball and soccer and loves going to the horse races where he cheers for his favorite driver, Marc Campbell.
The Easter Seals Campaign includes numerous events and fundraisers, along with the Tim Hortons Ambassador Tour where Brayden will visit 65 schools across PEI.
His motto for the Easter Seals Campaign is “Be brave! Never give up!”
