Marc Campbell led Red Shores in Charlottetown with a record 162 win sin 2017 also led Summerside Raceway. This weekend he’s competing in the 2nd annual North America Driver’s Championship at Miami Valley Raceway in Lebanon, Ohio.
The competition begins Sunday night and runs through Tuesday. Each competitor gets four drives Sunday and Monday with the top ten from the eliminations moving on to the championship final on Tuesday.
Red Shores in Charlottetown and Summerside will simulcast the event.
The 33-year old Campbell is from Winsloe and has dominated both Red Shores tracks in the past few years. He led Canada in driving and training averages while sitting second in the nation in training wins and was 6th overall in driving wins. He also set set a seasonal record for earnings with over $584-thousand.
Island native and defending World Driving Champion James MacDonald is another driver in the event along with several other top Canadian and U-S drivers.
