A group in PEI has finished work on two projects on the Freeland Creek and Enmore River.
Funds from the Wildlife Conservation Fund allowed the local watershed group to improve stream connectivity on the Freeland Creek by replacing an undersized culvert system.
On the Enmore River, group members cleared blockages from three kilometres of the river, which has already greatly improved fish passage.
They planted one-thousand trees and shrubs and created access trails for recreational fishing and hiking.
