The Charlottetown Islanders are near the top of the Maritimes Division in the Q after a 4-3 win over Drummondville. The Isles were led by Matthew Grouchy who had a goal and assist in their three-goal third, last night.
Charlottetown has won 14 of 21 and is just two points back of Acadie-Bathurst and Halifax.
The Islanders host Gatineau tomorrow night.

Summmerside blanked Miramichi, 2-0 in the MHL. That’s four straight shutouts at home for Caps goalie Dominik Tmej (ta-mee). He leads the league with an 0.75 goals against average. The Capitals are just a point behind Campbellton for second in the North. They visit Amherst tomorrow night.

Canada will meet the USA in the gold medal game of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge on Saturday afternoon at 4.00 at the MacLauchlan Arena after blanking Korea, 8-0 in the semi-finals. The Americans advanced with a 5-2 win over Italy.
