The Coalition for Women in Government is applauding Hannah Bell on her historic win as the first female member of the Green Party to be elected to the Legislative Assembly of PEI.
Voters in District 11 Charlottetown-Parkdale elected the Green Party candidate in Monday’s by-election.
Dawn Wilson, Executive Director of the PEI Coalition for Women in Government, says she’s worked with Hannah Bell on a number of projects and knows her colleagues in the legislature from all parties will find her willing to collaborate and innovate.
Wilson adds the Green Party of PEI was the first party ever established on PEI by a woman, Sharon
