The Weather Network has released it’s Winter Forecast, and it says that, like the rest of Canada, PEI can expect an active winter weatherwise.
Michael Carter, a meteorologist with the Weather Network, says that for PEI, there’s a lot of warm water in the northwest Atlantic, and that has meant more than normal precipitation.
With that warm water, he says we can expect more than the normal amount of precipitation during the winter months with snow, rain and ice.
He says we should also see warmer than normal temperature levels.
