The province has brought down the Capital Budget for 2018-19 which will see $134 million spent in education, health, transportation and communications technology.
Finance Minister Minister Allen Roach says there will be a lot of investment in schools including a new Sherwood Elementary and additions for the L.M. Montgomery and Stratford schools and the French school in Summerside.
The replacement of aging Hillsborough Hospital will also begin.
$53-million will be spent on improvements to highway, bridges, public buildings and equipment.
The Mason Road intersection in Stratford will get a major overhaul.
Work will continue on the Trans Canada highway extention in the Cornwall area.
128 kilometres of road will be resurfaced.
Roach says an investment of up to $30 million over the next three years will be made in a fiber network to improve internet access to all communities across the province.
