Francophone immigrants settling in PEI now have access to a wide range of services in one central location.
It’s the Francophone Newcomers’ Assistance Centre, and it’s located in the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean in Charlottetown.
The Centre officially opened its doors Monday, during a special ceremony held to launch the 5th National Francophone Immigration Week.
Staff will be able to work directly with immigrants, and there will be work stations with computers, Internet access, telephone and other tools to help newcomers search for jobs, prepare their résumé or other such tasks.
